Thank you refs for the early whistle.

Christ. If there's one thing Montreal knows how to do well it's flop. What happened to the "Unsportsman-like" penalty? I haven't seen that called in years.

How about one power play goal guys? That'd be nice.

Re: NHL 2010-2011 Season
It seems to happen at least once in these Bruins/Canadiens series. One team will ultimately lose a game because of the referees. The refs tonight were an absolute fucking joke. The Lucic "boarding", the "goaltender interference" on Bergeron. And then this whistles completely disappeared in the third period. What happened there?
If Lucic is suspended for tomorrow's game...I'll be absolutely speechless.
And I can't even give credit to the Canadiens for playing a good game. The Bruins outworked and out-hustled them throughout the entire game. The only thing the Canadiens did right was execute on the two 5 on 3's they had whereas the Bruins were and are absolutely inept on the powerplay. Then again they weren't gift-wrapped two 5 on 3's.

Yes, because we actually give a shit. Every city with a team bitches. Boston has the benefit of having four teams so we're heard more widely.
And I only wish more drinking was involved. I just don't have a taste for it.

And there's one BIG collective sigh of relief in Vancouver.

They were also the defending champs, though.

Re: NHL 2010-2011 Season
That's the one plus in Vancouver's favor. But still. No one really gave Chicago a chance against the Canucks.
I'm not knocking the Canucks by any stretch. I just can't believe it took them seven games and an overtime in Game Seven to beat them.

Re: NHL 2010-2011 Season
That's more due to Chicago's play than Vancouver's
Also, this would not have been more embarrassing than when the Oilers knocked out the Wings in 06. Or when the Bruins lost to the Flyers last year.

Hahahaha, it's funny because the Oilers actually did eliminate the Red Wings. Classic.
Does anyone know of any live internet stream I can use to watch tonight's Pens game? Preferably one of the free variety. Exclusively might be a better term.

Canucks barely escaped a team that only got in because DALLAS lost it's final game.
Pathetic. Like the Penguins.

Pathetic. Like the Penguins. Pathetic, like the Red Wings! They needed FOUR games to win ONE series? Terrible.

While Vancouver could still easily win the Cup, it does indicate that they have problems closing out series. What a shot that was though. I could watch it over and over.
