Frye played 13 games.

You are obviously the one that doesn't follow football.

ur the one who said he didnt even last the whole season. He played the first and the last game, so obviously he lasted the whole year. And just because he played the games doesnt mean he wasnt hurt when he played them. And just remember, you had Joe Thomas first overall.

Figures you would change your argument.

Thomas went 3. Only 2 spots from 1.

And again, I NEVER said he WOULD go 1. I said SHOULD

How was I wrong?

Because Frye played in Week 17?

He also didn't play the 2 weeks before that. And he threw for less than 200 yards in Week 17.

Sounds pretty shitty to me, against HOUSTON.

Didn't the colts go all the way? Yeah just checkin. Just accept defeat bro, it's pathetic to watch u try and debate.

Thank GOD the Eagles traded out of that pick.

No one of value at a position they want, any pick they made would have been a stretch. I was freaking out, praying we moved out.

We gave up a pick worth 700, and got picks worth 540, 155 and 27.8 ... so pretty even trade. I'd rather have two decent players than one decent player. The additional 3rd for dropping down 10 picks when the player we want will still be there is great. I'm happy.

Houston beat a Colts defense that was one of the worst in the NFL during the regular season.

The Colts also lost 3 more games.

That doesn't mean Houston was ANY good

Pretty much sums it up.

First game of the season is against the Steelers at home, would not be surprised to see Quinn start it.

The Eagles got my favorite college QB, Kolb.

GREAT pick, imo. He's fantastic, and McNabb needs a backup for WHEN he gets hurt.

Stanton to Detroit.

He's pretty good, and should fit in well to throw to Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams

AWESOME!

He's the next Porter, or better.

The Browns got Steinbach and Lewis in the offseason and just added Thomas and Quinn. They will be much improved this year. their O-line is actually gonna be good barring injuries. Quinn may actually have enough time to get a pass off unlike Couch, Garcia, Frye, etc.... Lewis had bone spurs removed in the offseason and is now 100% healthy, and will be playing behind a solid line AND is gonna be playing for a new contract. He'll have 1,000 yards easily this year. Quinn will be starting very early into the year, if not week 1. He's an instant upgrade over Frye.

I could easily see the browns making a move in the division and flirting with a +.500 finish.

The New England Patriots just traded ONE 4th Round pick for...

Randy Moss.

I smell like... 5 more Super Bowls

Keep track of all the trades here

Also, I think NE is going to try and get Michael Bush, RB from Louisville.

Wtf!

Oakland is sooooo bad. 1 4th round draft pick for their closest thing to a headlining player... my god.

If Moss drinks the Kool-Aid, the Patriots will be fucking unstoppable this year, despite not having a sure thing at running back.

Author:  Excel [ Sun Apr 29, 2007 10:47 pm ]
Post subject:

maroneys a sure thing. hes got 750 yards on an average of 11 carries a game. hell be getting atleast 25 a game this season, so hes pretty much a lock for 1200-1300 yards+ next season. he also got 8 touchdowns , so look for around 10-12 this year as theyll be a more passing oriented team.

Whatever, Oakland is glad that the headache known as Moss and his fat paycheck is f'in gone. Dude is a child, it's all about him, he didnt like something or something isnt going right, he's not changing, the situation around him needs to change. Im surprised a great team like Patriots would take a chance, you could get an elite WR (which I havnt seen in awhile) or you could get a whiney bitch who could care less about the game, it's a huge toss up.

I'm no Raiders fan, but if I were, I'd be throwing a party for getting rid of Moss. He's one of the biggest douche bags to ever play the game... his only saving grace is that Terrell Owens is a hair crazier than he is. Of course, the Raiders were stupid to get him in the first place... it's not like they didn't know they were getting a head case.

I was pretty happy with the Lions draft this year, but Matt Millen is still an idiot and I wish the Ford family would wake up fire his ass!

And, I didn't read quite all of this thread, but I don't understand the fighting. It looks like a lot of people trying to prove they know more about football. Let's just agree that we all know more than the powers to be at the Philadelphia Eagles and Tenn. Titans headquarters and have a big group kiss.
