Spurs sweeping OKC would be CRAY. It won't happen. I still see OKC winning this.

Yeah it's game 7 of the NBA finals for small market teams.

Yet we know that New Orleans will get it. The draft lottery is always rigged.

Maybe not, but New Orleans did just move into the top 3 over Cleveland.

It's such a shady process. So like, no one can see the numbers come out except like a few people in a room closed off from everyone, and then they just tell us.

With the secretive draft lottery and questionable officiating, it's clear that the NBA needs one thing - Batman. :bat:

If Rondo has finally found his jump shot than this loss was worth it.

It's not rigged, as funny as the Hornets winning is. You can come up with enough rig reasons to get over 50-70% chance - Brooklyn obviously, Sacramento has an ownership situation as bad as the Hornets, Golden State just bought the team last year, Washington could be a "let's make a big market matter move", Cleveland could get the 2 #1s in a row after the Decision talk, etc

There's just not enough reason for the NBA to rig it. Anthony Davis makes any team a lot more financially viable than they are right now. People want to have their cake and eat it too in terms of saying it's rigged when a Chicago sized market gets #1/pandering to the big markets but also when a Hornets win it in a save a small market situation. The NBA helps every team pretty close to equally financially by giving them the #1 pick. Yeah the Hornets getting it is decent for them, but Brooklyn or Washington getting it would be even better for them, Sacramento would be exactly as good, Cleveland and a possible rivarly with the Heat would be great for them, etc.

Also all I need to know is that the 5 most hyped prospects of the last 20 years are Shaq, Glenn Robinson, Duncan, Lebron and Oden and they went to Orlando, Milwaukee, San Antonio, Cleveland and Portland, which makes NO sense if the NBA was rigging it and were completely random winners. When people have no other excuse they come up with crap like the NBA rigging it for Cleveland because Lebron is from Ohio. Yeah, as if they'd take the massive, billion dollar business ruining risk of being caught if something went wrong in the rigging, just for the novelty of Lebron playing in his home state... Then OKC doesn't win hometown Blake Griffin when it'd also create a dynasty trio with Durant/Westbrook and everyone just ignores it

Rondo is a maniac. What a crazy, crazy performance. Even in OT when Doc Rivers gave up seemingly, Rondo made back-to-back 3's! They deserved to win, especially with those bad calls by the refs.

The missed call on Rondo cost them the game. Wade went immediately down, and got an and-1. 5 point swing. Awful.

Yay? :funny:

A win's a win and for three quarters it was a convincing one, but I think I almost had a stroke during that fourth quarter.

You still think Spurs are gonna win this?

I really feel like OKC has them figured out, Spurs are getting tired, etc. I can't remember but did Spurs ever lose back-to-back games this entire season? OKC will win at home in Game 6, so it's just about stealing 5 or 7. Which I think they can do.

YES!!!!!!! :towel: :2thumbsup: :clap2:  :cheer:

That's a game the Celtics had no business winning and they still won it anyways. 32 points in the second half and in the overtime after scoring 61 in the first half, that's not a game you should win especially against a team like the Heat. They're very fortunate that Wade missed.

And those two rebounds by Pietrus down the stretch and getting Lebron to foul out (even though he should've been gone in the fourth for the call that went on Garnett under the hoop)...huge! It made up for the absolute ineptness he was displaying early in the overtime.

I just watched the replay again of Wade on the final shot. If he takes an extra beat to set himself instead of just rushing it and kicking his leg in the air, he probably makes it. Thankfully he didn't bother to set.
