Love the Weezy pictures. Especially because he's a Lakers fan. I don't know if he's necessarily a Heat fan, but he does attend all their home games usually since he lives in Miami. But he's a Basketball fan in general.

Birdman lost $2m betting on the Heat to take this down, so him celebrating in those pics is more funny.

Lebron wants to play Hockey now cause it doesn't have a 4th quarter.

Metro PCS has a new phone out called Da Lebron. It vibrates but has no ring.

Why didn't Lebron go to college? Cause he doesn't like to show up for Finals.

:funny: love the internet

I wonder if Dirk will have the same desire to win it again now that he's gotten his ring & revenge on Miami

I think the Heat missed their best chance at a ring this year.
They beat the 2 best teams in the east. Celts & Bulls. And they didn't have to face the 2 times defending champs Lakers in the finals.

This was a one shot thing for Dirk. Unless they sign a big free agent.

I also have a fantasy that Nash comes back to Dallas and Dirk and him win one together like they always should have. But that's probably unlikely.

Oh that would be so awesome :D

I honestly think Nash still has a good chance at winning one in PHX.

Nash is still the best PG in the league (CP3 essentially 1B). Gortat as starting center, who I'd take over Chandler any day. Frye had a breakout year last year. Dudley can start, very good defender. And Hill is still a Top 3 defender in the league. They're better than a 6 seed. Had a horrible first half of last season due to Hedo, but once they got Gortat, everything changed.

I've seen teams win with less.

If you knew anything about basketball, Grant Hill played well enough last year to WIN Defensive Player of the Year. (He obviously didn't, because Dwight Howard always wins it)

And I never said Nash was the best all around PG. He's the best pure passer, which is what a PG is supposed to do. And you're not giving enough credit to the rest of the Suns.

Game 6 quote of the night:

Quote:
“It wasn’t about our high-flying star power,” Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said. “Come on, how often do we have to hear about the LeBron James Reality Show? When are people going to talk about the purity of the game and what these guys accomplished?”

Dirk Nowitzki has lots of game, but no agent

Quote:
Surely some corporation out there was so impressed by Dirk Nowitzki's MVP performance during the NBA Finals that an endorsement deal is in the works. But if endorsement offers are headed Nowitzki's way they may be tough to deliver.

Nowitzki, according to a Bloomberg report, has no agent and has never had endorsement deals beyond one shoe contract with Nike. Nowitzki also has conducted all of his own contract negotiations, and though he doesn't have a business manager he does have an "advisor" in Germany.

Nowitzki explained his decision not to pursue endorsements to Bloomberg by saying, "I always wanted to be a basketball player. Nothing more, nothing less."

WOW! I did not know that

The Mavericks playoff run was quite fascinating, even if they had beat a "normal" team in the finals. The Blazers were the sexy upset pick for most sports analysts and fans alike. They ended up going 16-6 against Portland, L.A., Oklahoma City and Miami.

Now Cleveland will be full of Packers and Mavericks gear. :funny: The official City of Hate!
