We played our worst game of the season... maybe worst game of the past 5 years, and the Giants STILL needed a broken sack and a miracle catch to win.

AND THAT IS WHY THEY KICKED THE PATS/BRADY'S ASS ALL GAME..... I AM WONDERING IF BRADY GOT HIT AS MUCH IN THAT 1 GAME AS HE DID ALL SEASON PLUS THE FACT THAT THE PATS DEF LINE SUCKED - AND THAT IS WHY THE GIANTS CONTROLLED THE BALL AND RAMPED IT DOWN THEIR FACES - STARTING WITH AN ASS-KICKING 10 MINUTE DRIVE TO OPEN THE GAME. SORRY JACKASS.....THE PATS JUST COULDN'T COMPETE FOR 60 MINUTES AGAINIST A GREAT TEAM - THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPION NEW YORK GIANTS.
STILL GOTTA LOL AS THE PATS GO FROM THE GREATEST TEAM IN SUPER BOWL/NFL HISTORY TO A BUNCH OF PRETENDERS/SUPER BOWL LOSERS.
AND CHEATERS NEVER WIN!

 Re: 2008 NFL Discussion
I will say, I believe if we played them 10 times, wed win 9. I dont think theres any doubt among anybody outside of NYC who was the better team, but its not abot that tis abotu who plays the better game in those 60 minutes, and they did. Hell, Id argue they were not the better team when they beat GB, Dallas, and TB...but they did.
As a Bostonion, I can say with a bit of pride they won the same way the sox have both their recent ws: they got hot at the right time, while the pats peaked in week 2.

I watched the Giants all year long, they were a special team especially in the second half of the year when their new RB got playing time and Steve Smith came back from injury. ( hey they won an amazing 10 road games in a row.) and as you said the Pats peaked in week 2, do you really think they could have stopped all the Giants had to offer. ( I thought the Pats were a much better team in the first half than the second half) 1. the Giants defense line - the sacks and pressure 2. the Giants running game - 10 minute drive to start the game and the Giants were stacked with 3 very good running backs. 3 the Giants spread offense - 3 WR/2 RB - Eli had lots of weapons to spread the ball around. PS. Next year the Giants added the Michigan WR Mario M who is a big play maker which will give the offense more to play with next year.

I have always said the Giants had by FAR the best draft of anybody. Kenny Phillips is a stud and Manningham was the best reciever in the draft; in 2 years he will be ocho cinco jr.

Manningham is a bust. He doesn't play hard. Never has, never will. I should know. And fuck you grill. You're being a complete and utter jack ass. Shut the fuck up already. We all know how much you beat off over the fucking Giants. Just shut up already. And, check your fucking stats. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statistic ... 7&season=2Yes, they had the most sacks, obviously, because they were on the field for so damn long. But they didn't even have more sacks than ANY TWO teams combined. Oh, and look at this! "Possession- NY= 30:27 NE = 29:33" http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=280203017

I'm a fucking hardcore Michigan fan, you clown.
If anyone knows ANYTHING about Manningham, it would be me.
Arrington was far superior to him in every way but going deep.
Manningham didn't even show up for the biggest game of his career.

That 97 yard td was electriftying; that catch to defeat MSU was amongst the most clutch of all last season; manningham was the best last year. With Henne n Hart out, who KEPT them in the top 25? Super Mario.

The Patriots currently sit at 19 straight regular season wins. When will that streak end?
Right now... I could see it ending after 23/26/29 weeks.
That record may be untouchable in the next 30 years.

 Re: 2008 NFL Discussion
Might be if Brady is still hurting. I think if it does happen the Pats will win by 40 next time they play (and Brady is 100%). Anyways, just for fun, I'll do my final pre-season playoff predictions. AFC: 1. Indianapolis Colts 14-2. Will play hard every game down the stretch because of what happened last year. 2. New England Patriots 13-3. Will not play hard down the stretch because of what happened last year. 3. San Diego Chargers - 12-4. These guys are due. 4. Cleveland Browns - 11-5. Homer pick. I'm so scared they're gonna suck like the Indians. 5. Jacksonville Jaguars. 11-5. They'll beat the Colts at least once this year. 6. Houston Texans 10-6. Will get some ridiculous tie-breaker over the Steelers. NFC: 1. Dallas Cowboys 13-3. They definitely have something to prove. If they don't make it to the Super Bowl this season is a flop for them. There's no one in the NFC that can match them. 2. Seattle Seahawks 11-5. Get's hard after the Cowboys. Seattle will get the bye because of their awful division. 3. Minnesota Vikings 10-6. Tavaris Jackson ft. Adrian Peterson vs Aaron Rodgers.Toughie 4. New Orleans Saints 9-7. Not the season they want, but it's good enough for the playoffs. 5. Philadelphia Eagles 11-5. The NFC East almost makes up for the rest of the conference. Can the Bears and the Redskins trade cities? 6. New York Giants 9-7.They'll have their usual second half collapse, Tom Coughlin's job will be in question, blah blah, they'll still make it. AFC Playoffs: San Diego over Houston. Shouldn't be too hard for them. Cleveland over Jacksonville. If the Browns can win the division then I think they can win one playoff game. Just to give us enough hope for our dreams to be crushed by Indy the next week. Indianapolis over Cleveland. Indy's defense will be the key here. They'll ensure a blow out. San Diego over New England. Remember when I said they were due? San Diego over Indianapolis. LT will make up for not being in last year's AFC Championship game. NFC Playoffs: New York over Minnesota. I trust Eli over Tavaris Jackson. Unless the Vikings somehow manage to pick up or develop a QB mid-season. Philadelphia over New Orleans. It'll come down to the next minute though. Dallas over New York. Dallas can't lose their first playoff game three years in a row can they...? Philadelphia over Seattle. Meh. Dallas over Philadelphia. Philly knows the feeling well. Superbowl: Dallas over San Diego. Great game.
