Wished he had a chance but than again his stat against Bama is 1 TD & 7 INT in 4 games so I doubt he would've done better

This must be a first. Offensive MVP is a player who scored 0 points.

 Re: 2011 College Football Season
It was a dominating performance by Alabama, especially when you consider they couldn't even get passed mid-field.

They should just vacate the national Title this Year. Both teams were a laughing Stock, especially LSU of course.

Alabama at least looked like a good team. LSU just looked awful.

B(S)CS can suck it, they don't crown a true national champ, go NFL.

Sec finishes with 3 of the top 5 and 4 of the top 10. Unreal domination again

 Re: 2011 College Football Season
The entire CFB season was a joke this year. There was not a single great team. Even the Heisman winner was weak.
Next year though I think has potential. USC could be like the 2004-2005 USC teams and LSU may actually fulfill its potential and get a great QB. I would love to see USC play the SEC champ in the NC.

 Re: 2011 College Football Season
There wasn't a great team this year. There could have been had LSU not been blown off the field because there resume was extremely impressive. There were alot of what ifs that could have happened for teams like Boise St and OSU but kicking did them both in.
Alabama is a acceptable #1 team but I do agree that there isn't a clear cut best team this year.
Next year, I have no idea what to expect but I'll be rooting for a non-SEC team to win the national championship and hopefully some change to the BCS for 2012 or 2013 that has a plus 1 game or something.

USC will either lose: @ Washington (Playing in Seahawks stadium) @ Arizona
Other than that, their schedule is pretty easy.

 Re: 2011 College Football Season
I heard on the radio that the SEC and Big 12 have come together where their champions will meet in a title game unless one or more of those teams are in a Four team playoff. I don't know if they intended to reveal that information but CF is getting some form of playoff in the future now. Cheers. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootbal ... ayoffs/rss

 Re: 2011 College Football Season
The playoff system will happen by 2013 or 2014. It's inevitable.
But people will still bitch cause it's only four. I however have always wanted just a simple four team playoff. That still allows the bowl system and gives a fair chance to teams who may have gone undefeated but weren't in top 2. Also, I really dont think in the majority of years that the eigth ranked team in the nation deserves a shot at the NC and would be upset if they moved it to eight (though its quite possible in ten gears they will). I'd be really pised though if they make it a sixteen team playoff. You need to earn your way to the playoff and being outside the top eight (or even top 4) is not doing that.

 Re: 2011 College Football Season
We officially have a playoff.
The way it is set up, if you think any team not in the big 12, big 10, PAC 12 or sec are getting it, you are kidding yourself (unless you're Norte dame).

I think it's still possible a team from a non Big 4 conference can still make the top 4, but they need to be undefeated and at least #2 in whatever polls. Also, I'd like total transperency for this committee in terms of who they'll be and how they vote.

 Re: 2011 College Football Season
I think it's idiotic that the committee is going to release their "standings" like the BCS does. Stupid.

The playoff eliminates the computers, which is what always kept teams like Boise State, Hawaii & Tulane from getting their rightful shot. Now, there is no denying an undefeated Boise, Hawaii, etc. There is no more bs excuses made up about the computers putting this team over that one. Computers have always been the cop-out the suits could fall back on. Strength-of-schedule is the only way a smaller team could be out in the playoff. But, if they schedule the "big boys" and succeed -- it all takes care of itself.
