A+++, ***** out of *****, 10/10.
THE event film of 2010 and the film that officially made the WORLD recognize Nolan as the official heir apparent to Stanley Kubrick. |

**A phenomenal triumph of character storytelling, The Comic book trilogy curse has been squashed flat!** With by far the most difficult task ever given in comic book films (being a worthy successor to The Dark Knight, killing the Comic trilogy curse plagued by far inferior fare such as Sam Raimi's a... |

It just came off a 500K+ weekend thanks to dollar theaters with less than 1M to go.
Yeah, it'll get there. |

What has imitated TDK since? Avengers, Man of Steel, TASM 1/2, Captain America 2, Skyfall. And those are just the obvious ones. How ever many titles you come up with, Spider-Man always has more. Not to mention that The Avengers, Captain America 2 and TASM 1/2 were not influenced by TDK at all. I'm ... |

If only due to the ridiculous, impotent backlash from jealous, spiteful fans of other inferior directors who have been left in his shadow and eaten his dust... Christopher Nolan. |

Well, Nolan's never made a film as bad as The Game, Benjamin Button or A3, and TDK/Memento rank up there with the absolute best Fincher could ever conceive or creating.
So, Nolan. |

F Revenge of the Fallen Redux. Pure trash from the get-go. This film, possibly more than any installment of the MCU thus far, is the prime example of why I refer to Marvel Studios as Happy Madison for Superheroes . Though maybe I'm jumping the gun... at least Sandler and Co. made Kat Dennings toler... |

Fantastic movie! The best thing about it... no stupid, pointless comedy moments. No "cute" references to previous Apes installments, no stale pop culture references like calling Koba "Scarface/Al Pacino" or other such nonsense. No Wink, wink, nudge, nudge crap. The closest thing ... |

Man of Steel was a film largely by other people but with a touch of Nolan, and it was better than anything Nolan has made previously... I respect your opinion, but... http://gifsec.com/wp-content/uploads/GIF/2014/04/youre-wrong-gif.gif Significantly inferior as a whole to any film Nolan has actuall... |

I remember people saying Avengers effect and Loki's "huge popularity" and Chris Hemsworth rising star was going to take Thor 2 to 250m or higher. Looks like these things did not help the movie as much as people thought Box Office Guru still thinks it could get to 250 Million. I'm gonna sa... |

The film's OW is similar to what it likely would have made as a sequel even without The Avengers preceding it. Just goes to show how overblown the whole "TA effect" was. It's much more likely that The Avengers experienced a RDJ (plus 3D) effect. This is just ridiculous. The Avengers gross... |

Generic, cliched, uninspired storytelling with a woefully underdeveloped main villain (Those expecting a meaty villainous role equivalent of the 9th Doctor are going to be disappointed), and actors that range between slumming/bored and irritating make for an underwhelming experience. Hiddleston is t... |
