Well, it seems that Harry Potter did fly high into the record books.  But this time, Captain America hopes to put a stop in his domination and he performs his daring do in 3715 theaters.  The reviews and buzz are better than Green Lantern, but about the same as the last X-men film.  Therefore, the pta should be similar.

Friends with Benefits is the third film in the series of having sex to keep up the relationship films.  The concept is not original yes we know, but at least the critics say that this is the best of the bunch due to the hot bodies, I mean chemistry between Timberlake and Kunis (did I say that out loud?).  If this were to open before No Strings Attached, this would have done better than what I predicted.  Therefore, it will have to settle for the 6.5k pta like many similar movies in this genre, despite good marketing.

With one of the lowest IM's in history, there is no way that Harry Potter can drop under 70%.  The Friday to Friday drop will surely be one of the biggest drops in history due to the midnight share.  Transformers has another competitor.  Horrible Bosses won't get hit too hard, with good WOM keeping this in the hunt.  Zookeeper will drop less than last weekend with no competition.  Cars would have had a low decline if not for the theater drop.  Winnie the Pooh is a tough one to decipher, so I went by dailies.  Bad Teacher may get hit a bit by the competition and theater drop.  The theater drop for Larry Crowne is astronomical that not even a pta in the 1k range can save it.  This is the Scottie signing out.
