This weekends looks to be a very close race for the number #1 movie. The two top movies will both come close to 50M each (but just under) for the weekend. I give Captain America just slight edge for 49.9M for 1st place. Close behind is the last Harry Potter in 2nd for 48.3M with over a 70% drop from last weekend, the reason give such a big drop , is that on opening weekend it made over 53% of opening weekend on Friday ( 3rd highest % for friday share of opening weekend ever for all wide movies) A weekend more front loaded than New Moon which drop 70% in it's 2nd week in 2009. In 3rd place will be Friends with Benefits opening around 20.1M. 4 place will be Horrible Bosses with another go hold for 11.6M. Close behind in 5th will be Transformers 3 with a average drop to 11.5M for the weekend. In 6 place will be Zookeeper for 9.3M. (I am predicting a drop of only 24.6% this weekend, ibecause Zookeepers weekday holds have been strong this week with wednesday only down 18.3% from last wednesday) In 7th place will be Cars 2 for 5.3M. 8th Place is Winnie The Pooh for 4.6M. 9th place is Bad Teacher for 3.1. With big theater count drops for Super 8 and Larry Crowne; Midnight In Paris will remained in 10th place for another weekend for another 1.4M.
