The third installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise tops the Box Office for a third week in a row.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has already exceeded 5 billion yen ($62 million), and 3.3 million admissions after only 17 days in release.

The most successful debut this week was Paradise Kiss, starring Kitagawa Keiko and Mukai Osamu.   An estimated 150,000 people turned out opening weekend, which brought it's 2-day total to an estimated 204 milliion yen ($2.6 million USD) on 303 screens.

Opening just behind Paradise Kiss was What If a Female Manager of a Baseball Team Read Drunker's "Management?".  The film stars Maedo Atsuko from the insantely popular group AKB48, and attracted 145,000 admissions for an estimated gross of 181 million yen ($2.3 million USD) on 320 screens.

The last debut Sengoku Basara - The Last Party, a anime adaptation of the popular video game series, coming in ninth for the weekend.
