During the past weekend, two new films appeared on the screens of Russian cinemas, but the results of them, frankly, were not remarkable.

Fantasy-comedy Your Highness (domestic title - "The Brave Pepper") debuted a month after the American premiere and earned $1.03M on 344 screens. This is still considerably less than the box-office comedies of recent years such as Kick-Ass, Tucker & Dale vs Evil,  Zombieland and Paul. Although it doubled the start-up achievements of the previous movie directed by David Gordon Green Pineapple Express ($0.49M, 254 screens). On the other hand the film came in almost without advertising support. 

Distributor "Top Film" for nothing took wide release the Australian romantic comedy with a little-known actors I Love You Too. The film located in ninth place with $0.17M and the disgusting per-theater average ($740). In addition to his native Australia, which last year earned $1.60M, this comedy has not appeared on the big screens in other territories.

Priest had a great his second, but first and last full weekend, coming in first place and adding 11% to the box office of two days first weekend. The final outcome of Legion is passed and that's enough. Pirates of the Caribbean are starting from Wednesday. Needless to say that this is still the best result in the world (of course after the United States).

Fast Five down on one line with a score of $2.56M, losing 50%. The film from director Justin Lin already earned $27.18M, ​​which is almost twice the total of the previous part. At the moment, Fast Five is the 14th among the highest-grossing film, surpassing Wanted ($26.39 M) and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse ($26.36M).

Thor kept the third position with 48% fall. Marvel Comics took $15.89M and left behind such films as last year's Iron Man 2, The Expendables and The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Rio reached $24.68M in its sixth weekend, and finally overcame the result shown by the cartoon How to Train Your Dragon and Megamind. Now, Rio is the fifth in the ranking of highest-grossing animated films of Russian box office and the second among the original after Rapunzel.
