Warm, sunny weather the well-established in the European part of Russia, as well as the general weakness of new films this weekend resulted in significant slump of the total box office at 33%. 

Rio reserved the first place, despite a 60% drop in third weekend. In total cartoon accumulated $22.25M. Now it is officially the most successful movie of the year.

Farrelly brothers comedy Hall Pass was the best among the debutants with $1.42M. A similar result movie showed in the UK ($1.45M).

Russian romantic comedy "Svadba po obmenu" (http://kino-n-sport.ru/repository/calendar/film/filmid/745) started slightly - only $1.28M with a budget $2M. Could not help nor high number of screens, nor efforts to promotion from a distributor. "Zest" in the film and really popular actors was not which were able pull the project from the gray mass of films produced in Russia.

The historical melodrama Water for Elephants fared even worse. Robert Pattinson in the lead role has not brought the movie any dividends. Even the Remember Me last year was exactly twice as much. Great interest to the actor apparently are winding down, or at least not leaves the scope of the Twilight franchise. The failed marketing company influenced on final result too.

Scream 4 crashed by 71% at the second weekend . Above the fall in this year was only from two releases: Largo Winch: The Burma Conspiracy (-74%) and When the War Began (-87%).

7 and 8 place was taken by two lackluster premiere: the Canadian-Italian horror movie Hidden 3D and the American thriller Shelter. Shelter before Russia had the best result of the debut weekend in Italy ($0.26 M, 101 theaters), and mostly directly was released on DVD. Budget of Hidden 3D is $8M. While Russia is the only area which decided to bring this film to the audience.
