The fantasy action Sucker Punch and the action-thriller Source Code will fight for first place in the coming weekend. Both films have the solid amount of the screens (over 700), the considerable advertising company and the high interest of moviegoers. The new film by director Zack Snyder comes in after the weak start in the U.S. and the total failure in several international territories (Spain, Italy, Mexico). Like for many other American action, Russia can play the role of a safe haven for Sucker Punch. The main targets box office advances - Watchmen ($2.57M, 554 screens) and the third part of the Resident Evil ($4.40M, 482 screens). The problems for the film - the lack of well-known actors and poorly prescript plot, which should lure the mass audience. 

If the visual perfection of creation Zack Snyder attract purely male audience, then Source Code by Jake Gyllenhaal will not be deprived of women's attention. As examples, we can take the recent Limitless ($2.87M, 625 screens) with Bradley Cooper, and Knowing ($3.19M., 468 screens) with Nicolas Cage.We give a slight advantage film Duncan Jones - $3.33M vs. $3.26M

Just Go with It falls to third place, but avoids the serious drop, because this week is without the new competition in the comedy genre.
  
The low-budget horror Insidious will be yet another new film coming in the world premiere on Friday. The new project from the director of Saw James Wang recalls Orphan ($0.63M, 283 screens) and The Unborn ($0.61M, 248 screens), but goes on much more screens. The prolonged absence of horror films in Russian cinema will also play for the benefit. From Insidious we wait for about $ 1.05M for the first weekend.
