Wagner Moura joins 'Elysium'
Wagner Moura (Elite Squad) has signed on to play the role of a villan in the upcoming sci-fi epic Elysium starring Matt Damon.
The film, directed by Neill Blomkamp (District 9), is set over a century into the future on another planet. Damon will play the role of an ex-con and the film reportedly contains significant violence as it navigates themes related to social class.
Jodie Foster and Sharlto Copley are also signed on to star. The film will begin production this summer and is aiming for a March 8th, 2013 release.
